About the course

Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF) is ideal for those who are working at or are aspiring to work at a supervisory or management level. This qualification enhances learners health and safety knowledge in the workplace. During this qualification, learners will cover a range of health and safety topics, including: understanding the requirements for health, safety and welfare in the workplace, legal requirements, the benefits of using a health and safety system and understanding the risks and control methods for common workplace hazards.

Learners must be at least 16 years old on the first day of the training. It is recommended that Learners already hold Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF).

There are no other formal entry requirements but to benefit from the learning we advise that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or equivalent.

Due to the practical nature of this course, Learners should wear appropriate clothing and footwear, e.g. trousers and flat footwear.

The course can be delivered in person at one of our bases, online, or at a venue of your choosing. In the instance that we provide the training at a location of your choice the fee is subject to change based on the request.
