Over a 1-day period, learners will develop an understanding of common mental health problems that can affect people at work, the impact of mental health on personal and professional wellbeing, and how to promote a positive workplace culture.
This Level 2 qualification helps individuals recognise signs and symptoms of mental ill-health, understand the importance of early intervention, and explore support options within the workplace. It’s suitable for employees at any level who wish to contribute to a mentally healthy environment.
Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the course. There are no formal entry requirements, but a basic understanding of English is recommended.
This regulated qualification does not require requalification. Successful learners will be awarded the Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Understanding Mental Health in the Workplace (RQF).
