Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH (RQF) is ideal for all employees, and specifically those who work in an environment with hazardous substances, such as: healthcare, manufacturing, cleaning, transport, utilities and office environments. During this half day course, learners will develop their understanding of the law relating to hazardous substances in the workplace and the precautions and procedures required to ensure they are properly controlled, as well as learn how risk assessments contribute to the safe use of hazardous substances.

Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training and be able to perform practical tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.

Due to the practical nature of this course, Learners should wear appropriate clothing and footwear, e.g. trousers and flat footwear.

The course can be delivered in person at our base in Southampton or at a venue of your choosing. In the instance that we provide the training at a location of your choice the fee is subject to change based on the request.
