Level 3 Award in Risk Assessment (RQF) is ideal for those who have a responsibility for conducting risk assessments in low risk environments, such as supervisors and site managers. This qualification is also suitable for those who significantly contribute to the risk assessment process, e.g. team leaders and technicians.
During this 2 day course, learners will develop their knowledge of risk assessment processes so that they can apply their knowledge and skills when completing risk assessments in the workplace. Topics covered include: the importance of health and safety in the workplace, the principles involved in risk assessment and the relationship between hazard and risk as part of an accident and ill health strategy.
Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the training and be able to perform practical tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
Due to the practical nature of this course, Learners should wear appropriate clothing and footwear, e.g. trousers and flat footwear.
The course can be delivered in person at one of our bases, online, or at a venue of your choosing. In the instance that we provide the training at a location of your choice the fee is subject to change based on the request.
